My Bucket List

Bucket Lists are one of those things that have always intrigued me. What do people have on their lists (whether it is more of a mental list or is actually written on paper)? Do people believe in them at all? And if they are anti them, why?

Some people find the idea of a bucket list morbid: why would you write a list of things to do before you die when you are still very much alive?  For me the logic behind a bucket list is pretty simple: I like lists, I achieve more with to-do lists than without, and frankly, writing a list of all the things you want to do in your life is just FUN!

Think big – write down EVERYTHING you want to achieve, no matter how out there or unachievable it seems – this is a dream list not a plan of action. I found that reorganising my list into categories gave it more order – I have a few suggestions of titles in my list below, but really encourage you to do whatever works for you. Finally, remember that this is yours, and as such can be edited whenever you feel like it, it is not possible for a bucket list to big too long, promise. Having it written down means it’s easy to add to whenever you want and makes it impossible to forget the stuff you already (obvious I know, but if your memory is anything like mine, thoughts get lost) :).

Over the next few weeks, you will see some of the italised items below turn into links – each will connect to another post about how that item was ticked off my list. So, just in case that wasn’t clear, italised means it’s been done, and some of these will gain a link to another post 😀 So, without further ado, this is my bucket list as it currently stands.
